Interview with Pamela Maass, from Law Mother Estate Planning Attorney

February 23, 2021 by Jane Chevalier

Tell me about your business, Law Mother.

Recognized by 5280 Magazine as a Top Lawyer in Denver for 2021, Law Mother helps families protect their children and assets, while building their legacy, and creating wealth.

How long have you been in Estate Planning and what’s your background?

Law Mother is a law firm for the modern family.  I have been practicing law for 11 years and am a working mom myself. After my early legal career success decided to start my own firm to help families protect their children and assets, while building their legacy, and creating wealth.  I know what it’s like to be caught in the push and pull of trying to succeed at home and in my career.  As a parent I share the same desire to provide safety, financial stability, and lasting security for my children.

I have a deep passion for helping women in my community.  I serve families by providing legal planning services, have created a platform for community and empowerment for the working mom, and share my insights from my own journey.

What inspired you to create Law Mother, and how is it different from other estate planning firms?

Unlike other legal experiences, I take a human approach, eliminating the discomfort of speaking with a lawyer. Creating a customized plan, at a flat-fee, I have eliminated the unexpected while still delivering the highest quality with integrity. I invest time in understanding my clients’ history, goals, and values. My clients get the peace of mind knowing that their loved ones are safe, and their assets are secure for generations to come.

When do you suggest parents start the process of estate planning?

I suggest that parents create or update their estate plan as part of their birth plan.

What’s your favorite thing about helping new parents?

My favorite part of working with new parents is providing them with a Comprehensive Kids Protection plan, which is an emergency response plan ensuring that when something happens to them, their kids are taken care of the way they want by who they want.
